Designed in Hepburn Hardware's Currumbin studio by founder Alison Wyatt, the Bamboo Handle is finished in Burnished Brass — a matte, slightly golden tone that runs a touch warmer than traditional brass. The finish is achieved through an electroplated process, lending it a consistent satin quality across each piece. It is designed not to patina over time, holding its appearance reliably in most interior conditions.
However, in environments close to salt water, the burnished brass finish may patina and discolour over time, gradually taking on a more antique brass character.
