Solid brass ball bearing door hinges in finishes that match the rest of the range.
Hinges are the most commonly mismatched item on a job. The handles get chosen carefully and the hinges end up being whatever was in the van, which shows every time the door is open.
How many
Two hinges for a light hollow core door. Three for anything solid, over 2040mm tall, or heavier than about 20kg. A third hinge stops the door dropping over time and is cheap insurance against a door that catches on the frame in two years.
Ball bearing
Ball bearing hinges carry weight more smoothly and are quieter than plain butt hinges. On a solid core door they are worth the difference.
Sizing
Standard internal doors usually take 100mm x 75mm. Heavier or wider doors may need a larger leaf. If you are not sure, measure the existing hinge or tell us the door size and weight.
Finish
Match the hinge finish to the handle. It is a small detail that separates a considered job from an assembled one.
